Our rubber is harvested, treated and crafted into comfortable flip flops using material and processes that meet the highest compliance and leave no trace on the natural world around us. PROVENANCE – Our flip flops are inspired by the magical paradise of Sri Lanka. Our flip flops are crafted entirely from genuine Sri Lankan natural FSC® certified rubber. Our trees are grown in the fertile slopes that run parallel to the rolling hills of the island.

Great to find an ethical and environmentally friendly producer of sturdy rubber flip-flops. I grew up wearing rubber slippers and they’re so much better than plastic.
My one issue is that I had to return two unisex pairs in different sizes as they’re on the small size. I’d suggest customers size up one to get a better fit.

Like any other new shoes, my new Waves flip flops took a few days to feel fully comfortable. The straps were rubbing a little bit at the beginning but never so bad it hurt. The fitting is perfect, not too big not too small, perfect size a flip flop should be! My feet are standard width and the flip-flops fit fine but not sure it’d fit well someone with wider feet. At the moment, I used them at home as my indoor shoes but can’t wait to take them to the seaside or to our next summer holiday, whenever that’s allowed!

I’m really pleased with these flip-flops. Very comfy, a bit firmer than squishy foam ones, and one thing I really liked was that the rubber feels nice and cool, great go slip on if it’s a hot day. Love the colour, too, as I tend to wear lots of olive, khaki and neutrals in the summer. Nice to find some flip-flops which are in my colour!

Lovely comfy flipflop
I delayed my review to properly road test my flip flops, so far so good, the texture gives the right amount of grip on the soles of your feet. They are squishy ish so v comfy and I don’t slide off them when doing a quick swivel, a dodgy manoeuvre to do in a flipflop at the best of times! And they’re Planet friendly, if you need new FFs these are the ones.

I love the colour of these flipflops. I’m a UK women’s size 7 and their unisex size 7 fits me perfectly. My feet are 11cm wide and these are wide enough also. Natural rubber does rub your skin before you wear it in. The only issue I have is the ‘W’ imprint in the footbed heel, it is extremely painful to walk on, it’s completely not needed as the Waves logo is on the strap and the grip of the whole footbed is covered in little W’s on the plain colour flipflops. If they got rid of the imprint in the heel it would be the perfect flipflop.
