Whilst flip flops are a wardrobe staple, we don’t often give much thought to what we purchase, or what happens to them when we part with them. Most flip flops contain plastics or man-made compounds. The trouble is that when they reach the end of their life, they either make their way into landfill, end up in the oceans and onto the beach.
The plastics do not break down and they can give-off harmful microplastics or petrol compounds into our oceans, damaging marine life such as fish, birds and plants as well as impacting people all around the world who rely on the sea for their livelihoods.

Our flip flops are 100%Â environmentally friendly, ethically sourced, made from natural materials and completely plastic free. We make our stylish and comfortable flip flops from natural rubber sourced and manufactured in Sri Lanka.
Rubber is completely biodegradable, recyclable and reusable as well as being comfortable. Our flip flops won’t leave you strapless, with elasticity in our unique rubber straps making strap pop outs a thing of the past. It doesn’t end there… In Sri Lanka we recycle worn & used waves flip flops as well as the rubber off cuts from production to make new products rather than letting the rubber that our team have worked so hard to process simply biodegrade.
We believe that stylish flip flops shouldn’t come at the expense of the planet or the people who make them. Our rubber is ethically sourced and our suppliers are FSC® certified. We work with the FSC® to ensure that even though our customers get a great product, our rubber workers and the environment are positively impacted too.
